    Mark Attebery’s early work was in stained glass, installed in homes throughout California. He's also had a long career in music and education. He received music commissions from several dance companies including Oakland Ballet and Malashock Dance Co.
     Mark received awards from The San Diego Arts Commission, The Getty Foundation and Meet the Composer, Inc. The American Ceramic Society includes Mark’s recordings of clay flutes in their CD and book titled 
From Mud to Music by Barry Hall.
    Mark is on Rockland Government's Art In Public Places committee and an advisor and curator for the Village of Upper Nyack's River Hook preserve.  
   He fabricates his forged & welded steel sculptures in his Nyack NY studio. Mark is currently involved with music groups in the Lower Hudson; with Tibetan vocalist Yungchen Lhamo, a project with guitarist Justin Kessler and a trio with percussionists John Wagner & Ben Carriel.
